Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast is 100km via the Bruce Highway (M1 to Morayfield, then Bruce Highway north to Caloundra or Maroochydore). The main exit points are the Caloundra Road exit for Caloundra and the Sunshine Motorway for Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Noosa. Door-to-door from Brisbane CBD to Maroochydore is about 90–100 minutes.

The Sunshine Motorway from the Bruce Highway is a fast toll road that runs east to the coast and connects directly to Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Bli Bli. For Noosa, continue on the Bruce Highway past Eumundi to Noosaville (about 125km from Brisbane, 100–115 minutes).

Traffic and timing

The Bruce Highway northbound from Brisbane can back up significantly on Friday afternoons as residents leave for the Coast. Friday afternoon Brisbane-to-Sunshine-Coast deliveries should be booked with a pre-noon Brisbane pickup. Southbound (Coast to Brisbane) has the same Friday-evening issue.
